Dr. Kheriaty is a plaintiff in the landmark free speech case Missouri v. Biden, which was recently before the U.S. Supreme Court. For his work challenging government censorship, the journalist Matt Taibbi has called him “the most ambitious theorist of the censorship-industrial age.” In this talk, Aaron will discuss what we have learned from this case about government censorship and the implications of this case for free speech in the United States.
Aaron Kheriaty, MD, is a physician specializing in psychiatry and author of over one hundred articles and five books, including the forthcoming, Making the Cut: How to Heal Modern Medicine. He is a Fellow & Director of the Program in Bioethics and American Democracy at the Ethics and Public Policy Center.
